Job Title : Forklift OperativeLocation : Tilbury, ThurrockPay Rate :

• Days : 13.70 per hour PAYE
• Nights : 14.17 per hour PAYE (Providing you pass the temp to perm period, yearly salary increases to £33,000 per annum)Shift Patterns Available :
• Days : 11 : 00 – 20 : 00
• Nights : 19 : 00 – 04 : 00Working Schedule :
• Monday to FridayContract :
• 13-week temporary to permanent positionJob Responsibilities :
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets.
• Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas.
• Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely.
• Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards.
• Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring workspaces remain safe and accessible.
• Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required.Requirements :
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual with good attendance recordDesired Experience :
• Prior experience working specifically with timber products is beneficial but not essentialWhat We Offer :
