Health & Safety Coordinator (Temporary Assignment)Location : Duxford, Cambridge Industry : Manufacturing - Composites for Aerospace, Aviation, and Automotive Contract : 5 months, 20 hours per week Pay Rate : £24.74 per hour Reporting to : Site Health & Safety ManagerA leading composite manufacturing company is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator for a 5-month part-time assignment. This role is fully remote with flexible working hours and days. The successful candidate will be required to be on-site in Duxford for initial training purposes. The position involves managing health and safety processes using the Cority system and supporting risk assessments to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCority System ManagementReview and close hazards in the Cority systemConduct engagement reviews and manage associated documentationOversee action management, ensuring timely completion and follow-upReview and post incident reports, ensuring accuracy and complianceCollate end-of-month data for internal and external reportingRisk AssessmentReview and edit Task Risk Assessments (RA)Review and edit Ergonomic Risk Assessments (Ergo RA)General Health & Safety CoordinationSupport the administration and continuous improvement of the site's Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standardsAssist in the investigation and documentation of incidents and near missesLiaise with site teams to promote a positive safety culture and ensure best practices are followedProvide periodic safety communications and participate in safety meetings as requiredMaintain up-to-date records and documentation in line with company policy and legal requirementsRequirementsMinimum 2 years' experience in a health and safety role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environmentProven experience with Cority System Management is essentialNEBOSH (or equivalent) health and safety qualification requiredStrong understanding of risk assessment processes and incident managementExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident communicator, able to work collaboratively across teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesDesirablePrevious experience in the aerospace, aviation, or automotive manufacturing sectorExperience with ergonomic risk assessments If you're interested in our Health & Safety Coordinator Role Click apply today or call us on (phone number removed) to apply
