Job descriptionProven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification. Strong communication and leadership skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. This company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across their operations and are seeking a dedicated and highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to drive the organisation's safe working culture and environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with external bodies such as health and safety authorities and insurance companies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
