For further information about this position please apply. About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Engineering Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, with experience in reading technical drawings, conducting first-off and final inspections, producing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and operating CMM and other inspection equipment.Key Responsibilities : Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure components meet required tolerances.Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections of precision-engineered parts.Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in line with industry standards.Program and Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and a variety of inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, verniers, height gauges).Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout production.Requirements : Previous experience in an engineering inspection role.Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ability to interpret technical drawings.Proficiency in using CMM machines and other precision measurement equipment.Experience with FAI reporting and quality documentation.A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits : Competitive salaryOpportunities for career progressionA supportive and dynamic work environment
