Stock Controller
Pertemps established manufacturing client based in Newport is looking for a full time, temporary to permanent stock Controller to join their busy team.
You will be monitoring, recording and managing stock levels of food packaging materials, ensuring the accurate stock rotating and having knowledge of stock locations, in addition you will be conducting regular stock takes, investigating discrepancies and ensure all inventory records are accurate and up to date.
As part of this varied role, you will be working closely with the procurement and production teams to ensure stock is available for packing operations, also overseeing incoming deliveries from the warehouse and quantity of goods and ensure all stock is stored correctly, whilst maintaining accurate stock check using RDT scanners, in addtion you will be responsible for waste managment and health and safety in and around the work place.
Ideal Candidate
- Stock Control Experience (Ideally in a food environment)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Forklift license (Essential).
- Reach Truck license (Essential)
- PPT licence (Preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP experience is a plus).
- Good level of physical fitness, as some lifting and manual handling may be required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Hours
4 Days a week 7-12 hours
Salary
12.79 per hour
