This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling, and associated support services. This innovative approach helps different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework for the power station’s thousands of rooms.

The role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you’ll ensure static and rotational mechanical equipment is installed in the correct orientation. Your responsibilities will include :

• Performing inspections in accordance with the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
• Liaising with the client’s representative for conducting day-to-day inspections during construction activities.
• Ensuring installation of equipment complies with ECS Code, drawings, vendor, and code requirements regarding material, alignment, etc.
• Maintaining LTQRs as required during inspections, ensuring all signatures on LTQR and ITP during inspection.

This role is full-time, with a four-day week every other week, and will be based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. There is a secondment allowance and accommodation available for anyone based more than two hours from the site.
