Trials, Experiments & Technology (Development) Senior Engineering Manager AWE is excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our TE&TD function, supporting the delivery of the Trials, Test, and Experiments programme. Location - RG7 4PR , located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking . Package : £47,690 - £60,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience) Working pattern : AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. Ideal Candidates will have the following skills, experience, and behaviours : Engage with operations and maintenance teams to identify areas requiring improvement. Review working practices to identify improvements. Review configuration control practices and suggest simplifications. Lead a team to facilitate the delivery of programmes of work, alongside operational teams. Communicate best practices throughout multiple teams and buildings. Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following : Proven experience of managing science / engineering staff. Strong communication and influencing skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience of providing a resilient approach to driving change and supportive change management.
