Contracts ManagerTime 4 Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Groundworks Contracts Manager to work for a successful and growing main contractor in Swansea – My client specialises in civil, commercial and demolition projects across South WalesAs Contracts Manager you will be based in Swansea and manage sites across the South Wales region. You will be working on varying sites and be expected to travel within the M4 corridor.The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing similar Civil & Groundworks contracts, in particular working with groundworks and refurbishments. A high level of relationship building skills is required to develop working relations with existing and new contacts on frameworks and clients to be successful within the role.As Contracts Manager you have will worked in a similar role where you have been managing multi-site environments, led large teams of trade people and produced successful projects. As contractor’s manager you will be involved in business development, programming, pre-let agreements, facilities management, manage the paperwork and establishing a timeline which will guarantee a production rate in line with forecast and budget as well as available trades, mainly groundworks.As Contracts Manager You will be expected to carry out critical checks across projects with site managers regularly to ensure plans are accurately transferred from concept through to construction and completion. You will manage the budgets, build quality and Health and Safety across the schemes, working closely with the wider team to ensure complete compliance and acting as the escalation point for any issues arising from project management.BenefitsAs Contracts Manager you will be rewarded with a salary for £60,000 – £70,000 per annum, plus other bonuses (depending on experience for the right person).This is a permanent role to start ASAP.You time will be split between the Swansea office and on projects within the M4 corridor.If you are interested in this role please send your CV through the website to Hazel Baron in the first instance
