We are seeking a passionate and creative Film Studies Teacher to join a team at a prestigious school in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of film theory, history, and production techniques, inspiring students to explore the world of cinema through critical analysis and practical filmmaking. This is for September 2025.

Duties as a Film Studies Teacher :

• Plan and deliver engaging Film Studies lessons at [GCSE / A-Level / BTEC] level.
• Teach students about film theory, genre, narrative, cinematography, and industry contexts .
• Foster students' ability to critically analyse films from diverse cultures and time periods.
• Support students in practical filmmaking projects , including scriptwriting, editing, and production.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage creative thinking and independent research.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as film clubs, screenings, and media projects .
