Description
We are looking for an ambitious and personable Advertising Sales Consultant to join our team, representing our Gloucestershire and North Bristol titles . This full-time, permanent role combines field sales, new business acquisition and account management, focusing on developing client relationships across the footprint of print and digital titles.
As part of this role, you’ll spend time visiting clients, so familiarity with the area, a valid driving license, and a passion for supporting local businesses are essential.
Working Pattern : Monday – Friday, office hours, hybrid role with two days a week in the Worcester office
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, particularly in Stroud, North Bristol, and The Cotswolds.
- Drive advertising sales for the portfolio of local news brands.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored advertising solutions.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through outreach and networking.
- Collaborate closely with editorial and marketing teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
