Hatched Talent Solutions is proud to be working with a globally recognised manufacturer to support in finding an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a Fixed-Term Contract running until the end of the year. Based at their site in the GL area, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and safe operations across the plant.
The Role :
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving machinery, equipment, and site infrastructure, while reacting quickly to breakdowns, safety issues, or any urgent maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Always operate safely and follow all plant and maintenance safety protocols
- Support safety initiatives and take part in safety-related activities as required
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance on plant equipment and buildings
- Respond to machinery breakdowns and carry out detailed fault-finding and root cause analysis
- Provide support to the electrical / electronic team during busy periods, holidays, or sickness
- Promptly report any maintenance-related risks to safety, operations, or the environment
