The team you'll join :
Reporting into the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the individual will work closely with a team of 7 AR Clerks and Cashiers to ensure the best internal and external service is given by the HSS FCCS function.
The impact you'll have :
The main purpose of the role of an Accounts Receivable Admin is to ensure that cash received into HSS FSSC is allocated accurately and timely by ensuring that receipts are matched to customer remits, to ensure that the prevention of customer disputes regarding cash allocations.
A typical day :
- Receiving and applying payments from customers via multiple methods and systems
- Validate remittances through the automated scanning system, Verify
- Action tasks using our in-house systems; Spanner, Open Accounts and Rimilia
- Support Credit Control with customer reconciliations ledger clean up routines
- Process rebates, customer refunds, write-offs and write backs
- Liaise with customers for receipts without remittance advices.
- Deliver performance in line with departmental KPIs and team targets.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of unmatched payments
- Support in the financial month end process including creation of bank file journals
- Manual invoicing and crediting when required
