Salary : Up to 18.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
Kings Park Hospital in Stirling is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include :
- Assess diagnose and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal neurological respiratory orthopaedic or postsurgical conditions (dependent on setting).
- Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Use a range of therapeutic techniques exercise programmes manual therapy and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
- Collaborate closely with consultants nurses occupational therapists and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings ward rounds and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Refer patients to other services where required (e.g. hydrotherapy pain management or community rehabilitation).
- Manage your own caseload efficiently working flexibly across inpatient and / or outpatient settings as required.
