About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1 : 1 English Tutor to join our team and provide tailored support to students who require additional help in English Language and / or Literature. Whether working with young learners or GCSE students, you will be instrumental in building confidence and helping individuals reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one English tutoring sessions
Support learners with reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension
Tailor lessons to suit individual learning styles, needs, and goals
Prepare students for examinations or assessments where relevant
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
Maintain accurate records of sessions and student development
About You :
A degree in English, Education, or a related field
Prior tutoring or teaching experience
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Patience, empathy, and a passion for education
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
