The details

Position : Laundry Production Operative

Location : Milborne Port, Somerset

Salary : £12.25 per hour & £16.87 per hour overtime rate (after 40 hours)

Working Hours : Monday – Friday

3 shifts available;

6 : 30am – 3pm

9 : 30am – 6pm

1pm – 9 : 30pm

Duration : Temp to perm

Start Date : Immediate

A leading provider of laundry services, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They serve a diverse range of clients, ensuring their linens, uniforms, and textiles are impeccably clean and professionally finished. They are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the production team.

The job

Operate laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
Sort, load, and unload laundry items, ensuring proper handling of different fabrics.
Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor.
Fold, pack, and prepare clean laundry for delivery according to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with inventory management and stock control.

The requirements

Previous experience in a laundry or production environment is preferred but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
