About the role
The school is looking for a Teacher of Science to join the successful Science department. You will be responsible for;
Teaching : Delivering engaging and effective Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11).
- Planning & Preparation : Developing lesson plans and resources that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported.
- Assessment & Feedback : Regularly assessing students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and using data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
- Classroom Management : Maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Collaboration : Working closely with the department and wider school staff to deliver an integrated and cohesive curriculum.
- Professional Development : Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice and stay up-to-date with educational developments.
