Electronics Support Engineer Location : Great Yarmouth Salary : £33,000 per annumAre you an experienced Electronics Support Engineer looking for an exciting role in the marine technology industry? Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-value electronic products, is seeking a talented engineer to join their service and support team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge subsea equipment, supporting both internal and external clients.About the Role : As an Electronics Support Engineer, you will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and supporting advanced electronic subsea systems. This includes working on client-owned systems and internal demonstrator / trials equipment. You will also be involved in product testing, development, and troubleshooting. The role may require occasional offshore travel for trials, client training, and demonstrations.Key Responsibilities : Support, service, and maintain electronic subsea products.Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.Assist in product testing and development.Conduct trials, training, and product evaluations, occasionally offshore.Participate in an out-of-hours support rota.Work collaboratively with engineers across multiple disciplines.Skills and Experience Required : Essential : Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics or a relevant engineering discipline.Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude.IT literate, proficient in MS Office applications.Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required.Desirable : Previous experience in the marine industry.Knowledge of marine geophysics, subsea positioning, or GNSS positioning.Experience working with electronic test and measurement equipment.Benefits : Competitive salary.Company pension scheme with additional contributions.Annual profit-related bonus.22 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service).Potential for some home-working once fully trained.
