Strategy Education are delighted to be working with a mixed secondary school in Southend on Sea, Essex who are recruiting for a Teacher of Science from April 2025.The Science Teacher role is full time and will include teaching KS3 and KS4 classes.Knowledge and experience teaching the Science GCSE curriculum is essential to this post.The role is full time will initially run from April – July 2025 with the possibility of an extension or temp to perm post from September 2025.The Science Teacher will have the opportunity to join an experienced and welcoming team. They will also have the chance to plan their own lessons and mark children’s work upon completion. The Science Teacher will meet students’ parents at parents’ evenings.The school is located close to Prittlewell station which is on a direct train line from London Liverpool Street and the C2C train line from London Fenchurch Street. There is parking onsite.The role is full time will initially run from April – July 2025 with the possibility of an extension or temp to perm post from September 2025.The Science Teacher will be paid on a daily rate basis, from £162.31 - £288.89 per day depending on experience and pay method.The successful Teacher of Science will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
