We are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join our successful Technical Services team. This is a Home Based role, with some occasional travel to the office required.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be joining the Construction Design team within Technical Services. As a team we specialise in the design, construction and operation of renewable energy schemes throughout the UK. Our clients are large businesses with complex operational requirements and exacting standards. Core elements of the role include the preparation and review of the mechanical and electrical designs for renewable energy projects. Working in a close knit team, in a fast paced and evolving market place the role suits a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to develop and refine their skills and knowledge, with significant opportunities to progress through the business.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

• CAD drawing, design and specification of materials and systems, electrical and mechanical design calculations and creation of bills of quantity.
• Organising and updating various trackers and version controls.
• Attending regular virtual internal design meetings and external client facing meetings. There will be times when the candidate will be expected to travel for business, as such a full UK driving license is required.
• Read and comply with the company Health and Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

Full training will be given for all specialist design software and knowledge required to become a valued member of the team.
