An exciting opportunity hasarisen at our rehabilitation and rehoming centre Glenda SpoonerFarm in Somerton, Somerset for a full time groom. As part ofyour role you will have the opportunity to work alongside ourspecialist grooms, vets, physio and farrier with support towardscontinued learning and personaldevelopment.
We are looking for anindividual who is willing and able to undertake normal daily yardduties as well as be responsible for a dedicated list of horsesundergoing rehabilitation. Ideally you will have previousexperience of working on a professional yard and be competent andconfident in handling a range of horses including youngsters. Theability to work methodically with a sense of humour and peopleskills are essential.
This is a fulltime permanent position working 40 hours per week. Weekendworking will be necessary.
Freeshared staff accommodation may be available for the rightcandidate.
