Job description

Senior Electrical EngineerCirca £60,000 + Bonus, Private Medical and Excellent Pension.Monday – Friday DaysEast LondonThe Senior Electrical Engineer is the Duty Holder and responsible for electrical infrastructure up to 11KV. Responsible for planning the upgrade and maintenance of the medium and low voltage networks to improve the efficiency and reliability of equipment. You will be responsible for managing a team and offering assistance with any electrical issues on site.Experience Required;

Familiarity with Health and Safety requirements.

Strong experience in Electrical Engineering.

Knowledge of MV / LV Switchgear, Motors, PLCs, variable frequency drives and automation to enable fault diagnosis.

Strong problem-solving and technical skills.

A strong electrical systems up to 11KV including power generation.

Experience supervising / managing electrical skilled personnel is required.

Good at working as part of a team and as an individual.

Able to demonstrate practical skills on medium voltage networks to a Senior Authorised Person level (or able to demonstrate equivalence).

Experience of embedded generation and distribution equipment up to 11KV.

Ability to work complex situations with minimum referral to engineering manager.
