Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School - Shepherd's Bush, West London - Full-time - ASAP StartEmpowering Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic SEMH school located in the heart of West London, Shepherd's Bush. This challenging yet rewarding role is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a daily rate of £95 - £105 (depending on experience).Key Responsibilities : Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behavior within a secondary special school setting.Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, fostering trust and rapport.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized intervention plans.Utilize strong behavior management skills to create a calm and patient atmosphere within the school.Qualifications and Experience : Proven experience working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).Completion of manual handling training is essential.Strong behaviour management skills and a patient approach.Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.The School : Nestled in the vibrant community of Shepherd's Bush, West London, our client is a secondary special school catering to students with SEMH needs.
