Job description

We're looking for experienced critical care nurses to join Head Medical!

This opportunity is going to be based in Southern Scotland, and on an ad hoc basis. So if you are an agency nurse looking to get on board with a reputable agency and fit the below criteria, get in touch today.

Main responsibilities :

Demonstrating expert knowledge of nursing practice procedures and best practice.

Manage the quality of nursing practice within their scope of responsibility.

Provide an efficient and effective nursing service, using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Ensure the safety of patients and the public, the preservation of life and the avoidance of harm, as well as maintaining professional boundaries.

Ensure the timely collection of data information, and supplement it with independent research where necessary.

Provide advice and support to patients and families on healthcare matters.

Requirements :

Valid NMC registration with no restrictions.

Minimum of 18 experience in ITU / ICU nursing.

Great work ethic, a passion for nursing and a dedication to providing the best possible client care.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
