Description : Special education teachers needed for Scarborough’s Extended School Year programs for grades K-5 Functional Life Skills program and K-5 Social Life Skills program. These programs will start on 06 / 30 / 25 and will end on 08 / 07 / 25; up to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities include planning and delivering academic instruction for students in the areas of reading, writing, math, executive skills, and functional life skills; working with program Ed Techs and grading of IEP goals at the conclusion of the program.
Qualifications : Maine DOE Certification Endorsement 282, K-8 or 6-12 : Teacher of Children with Disabilities.
Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
