Creative Arts Teaching Assistant.£85-£95 per day.Saltburn-by-the-SeaStart Date : As soon as possible. The School and RoleWe are looking for people with a Creative Arts background to use your skills and knowledge supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a school environment.Your primary responsibility is to provide essential support to students within our EYFS and Primary SEND School. You will assist with personal care, and hygiene, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with teachers, implement behaviour management strategies, and contribute to maintaining accurate records. Your empathy, effective communication, and adaptability will be key assets in fostering student well-being and academic progress.You will build positive working relationships with pupils and utilise your knowledge of creative arts to help them to get the most out of their time in education. As a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, you will get a feel for working in schools and gain valuable experience for a potential future in a role working with children.RequirementsThe desired Creative Arts Teaching Assistant will have : A desire to work in Special Educational Needs Schools across Teesside and the North East supporting pupils with barriers to learning, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adultsA warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupilsA creative arts background that you can incorporate into schoolsDrive or be willing to use public transportWhat we offerAs a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from : Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
