Protocol Education are working with a Salisbury based Secondary School to appoint driven, committed and passionate individuals to support students through their learning, in the role of a Teaching Assistant.
Hours : -
Employment Type : Both full and part time available
Start : September 2024
The ideal candidate will be looking to grow as an educator while simultaneously driving to grow the horizons of those around them. Ideally you have a skillset suited to the teaching environment, showcasing great communication skills, patience, positivity and a passion to inspire change. Although it is preferred, previous experience working withiun education is not essential. The role is suited to individuals who show the desired characteristics that make a great TA. Any previous experience working with children and young people will be considered.
The school are looking for someone who :
- Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for young people;
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;
- Enjoys working with young people and can develop good working relationships with them;
- Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
- Can be a strong team player as well as use your own initiative;
- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Understands and is sympathetic to the needs of young people, including their social, emotional and mental wellbeing;
- Has experience of supporting student’s learning;
- Has a current First Aid or is prepared to undertake training;
- Has experience working with young people with SEND (desirable).
