Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Revit Engineer to join their team in Rutherglen.

The successful candidate will work within a team of CAD / Revit Engineers as part of the CAD Department, reporting to the BIM / CAD Manger and being responsible for all drawings, taking M&E Engineer’s sketches and producing overall coordination of the M&E services package, including clash detection via Navisworks software.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Follow instructions and diagrams to create or modify 2D and 3D drawings within AutoCAD & Revit.

Sheeting of Drawings within Revit, including storage and retrieval of drawings.

Working under minimal supervision.

Production of full 3D coordination drawings of the M&E systems.

Drawing Quantifying and Auto-Take-Off’s.

Reporting to CAD Manager.

Scanning and printing drawings via the plotter.

Skills and Experience :

Essential :

Minimum of HNC AutoCAD qualification required and BIM Level 2 qualification.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with MEP Revit & AutoCAD within a contracting or consultancy business .

Good knowledge of Revit and experience in creating new families / parameters and assemblies.

Good understanding of Building Services M&E installations.

Understanding of Navisworks and clash detection.

Desirable :

Building Services, including Fire and security and MEP industry experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.

Quality experience working for a similar company or contracting organisation.

Familiar with COBie data production and extraction from Revit models.

Familiar with Navisworks and being able to navigate through models with the team.
