Pharos Generator Services an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Generator Engineer to join the team based in Runcorn, UK . This is a full-time, permanent position.

Reporting into the Service Manager the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at client's premises or Pharos sites. Key tasks include :

Responsibilities :

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Carrying out diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators and associated equipment
• Providing call-out cover for generator breakdowns on a rota system
• Carrying out client site visits
• Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works

Qualifications and Experience :

Due to the nature of the role there will be a requirement to obtain relevant security clearances, such as, obtaining and maintaining a DBS check, BPSS clearance and NPPV level 1, 2 and 3. This list is not exhaustive and other clearances my be required depending on our client.
