Unqualified SEN Teacher
Location : Royston
Salary : £21,731 - £33,902 (UQT1-UQT6)
Contract : permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
Teaching Personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with a SEN school based in Royston. The school cater for pupils aged 6 to 19 who have a range of PMLD, MLD and SLD needs including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and associated difficulties, who require an individualised, specialist approach. Many of our students have complex medical needs and sensory / physical impairments.
The Role :
The school are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to join their education team, where they are always striving to provide the highest quality of education and outcomes for young people in preparation for adult life.
It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate :
- Working knowledge of the Teacher Standards and expectations
- Knowledge and personal experience of SEN learning particularly sensory lead curriculums
- Positive team working, being able to contribute to our established team
- Diligence and accuracy in assessing, reporting and recording
- The ability to lead and direct other adults supporting within the class
- The role may require participation in physical intervention and personal care routines
