Production Maintenance Engineers – Mechanical & Electrical Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a role in a high-paced manufacturing environment? We are working with a leading food production company, seeking Production Maintenance Engineers to join their large-scale manufacturing site near Newport. About the Role : As a Production Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a team of over 30 engineers responsible for ensuring that production machinery runs at full capacity in one of the largest manufacturing sites in Europe. This role is open to candidates from any industry or sector, and food manufacturing experience is not required—all backgrounds will be considered. Key Responsibilities : Perform mechanical or electrical maintenance on production machinery. Ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime of equipment. Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently. Work within a large engineering team to maintain site productivity. What We're Looking For : Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering maintenance. Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential. Ability to work on a shift pattern with a mix of day and night shifts. What’s On Offer : Salary : Up to £43,000 per annum + £5,000 shift allowance (Total up to £48,000 per annum). Shift Pattern : A seven-day fortnight (working 7 out of 14 days), with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).
