Main Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of mechanics and maintenance staff.
Assign tasks and monitor work to ensure timely and quality repairs of vehicles and machinery.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Diagnose complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
Ensure the availability of required tools, parts, and equipment for repair tasks.
Maintain service logs, job cards, and report performance or issues to management.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
Train and mentor junior mechanics and evaluate team performance.
Essential Qualifications :
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Technology.
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Thorough understanding of diesel / petrol engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems.
Skills Required :
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical repair techniques and maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Proficient in using mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop software.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
