An opportunity has come up within a Good Ofsted rated school within the Middlesbrough locality. The school primarily supports students with SEMH so a key understanding and experience within this area is a must.
Job Duties :
- Developing and delivering tailored teaching plans to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Implementing strategies to address Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges in the classroom
- Collaborating with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments
- Assessing student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Providing feedback and support to students, parents, and carers
Required Qualifications :
Education :
A PGCE in Education with a focus on SEN
Experience :
Prior experience working with students with SEMH needs
Knowledge and Skills :

Working Conditions :
This role requires working full-time hours in a school setting, collaborating with colleagues and supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
