Job Title : Cover Supervisor
Location : Redcar, UK
Salary : £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date : April 2025
Contract Type : Full-time / Part-time positions available

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Redcar to recruit a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour in the classroom.
Your Role :
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll take charge of pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. You’ll help students stay engaged with their learning, provide guidance where needed, and ensure a calm, focused environment. This is a brilliant stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
- Ensure students remain on task and follow the provided lesson plans
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Promote a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding class progress or issues
