Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Cheetham Hill who are actively seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work both with small groups and 1 : 1 with pupils who have been diagnosed with different Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be working in a good, rated school that aims to enable individual children of all abilities to develop spiritually, physically, socially and intellectually in the fullest possible way. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8 : 30am-3 : 30pm) and is required to start in school from the beginning of September.
The Role :
- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
- Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
- Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the holistic development of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
