Mainstream Primary School | Full-Time | Immediate / April Start
We are working with a welcoming, supportive mainstream primary school in Putney who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely on a 1 : 1 basis with a child in Year 5 who has special educational needs.
The Role :
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (8 : 20am to 4pm)
- Immediate or April start
- Supporting a child with SEN (social and emotional needs) on a 1 : 1 basis
- Building trust, consistency, and positive relationships is essential
- Long-term commitment is needed to ensure stability and ongoing progress for the child
What We're Looking For :
Strong SEN experience, particularly with children requiring emotional support and trust-building
A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach
Experience working 1 : 1 in a primary school setting
Ability to work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
Committed to making a positive impact on the child's development and well-being
