The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing the relationships of customer accounts managing the profitability of those accounts alongside new account opportunities.
Providing account management support to the department to cover periods of team holidays / leave and master data support or higher activity periods various commercial reporting responsibilities.
Fixed term contract / Secondment for 12 months.
Working hours : Monday to Friday 40 working week
Key Duties of a Commercial Account Manager :
- Managing the commercial relationship and development of specific clients and support.
- Provide / challenge invoice queries internally by carrying out random invoice spot checks and working. with the Commercial Account Managers to ensure all customers are being charged correctly as per quotes or SLA agreements in place.
- Support when required contract negotiations with senior management.
- Assist in any projects reporting or analysis as requested by the Head of Commercial & Operations Directors.
- Coordinate and chair effective review meetings with existing clients ensuring strong relationships are built.
- Provide accurate forecasting and data to support the business function.
- Promote the business whilst managing and upholding customer relationships.
- Proactively resolve any problems with customers ensuring satisfactory outcomes for both the customer and the business.
- Ensure best service levels to customers whilst collaborating with other functions and disciplines in the business.
- Onboard new customers and walk them through the CML experience acting as their initial golive contact to ensure seamless startups.
- Manage and maintain commercial shared space including customer contracts GO forms New Business pipeline volume data charts amongst others.
- Assist in maintaining CML Master Data and customer IT / EDI development and testing when required.
- Generate customer KPI reports in a timely manner on behalf of Commercial Key Account Managers when required.
