Are you an experienced Semi Skilled Engineer?

Do you have Electrical and Mechanical knowledge or / and experience?

I’m looking for a Semi Skilled Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering team, experience within FMCG / Food sector is preferred but not essential.

Working a 4on 4off shift pattern on fixed days
32,000 - 33,000

Purpose

To provide technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems.

Key Responsibilities\Measures of Success

You will be managing and closing out all equipment failures, work orders and PPM jobs.

Ensuring data of all parts used, jobs raised & completed are entered on to CCM.

Responsible for good housekeeping of all areas

Ensure all work is carried out to specification and that SHE & food safety standards are met.

Ensure that targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of problems.

Respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any issues to minimise any downtime, quality and efficiency problems.

Understand and contribute using a range of risk assessment techniques in order to ensure safety of plant, equipment, and people.

Continually strive to reduce costs whilst ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Skills & Knowledge

Excellent knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering.

Competent IT / Computer skills

Qualifications

On the job expereince or a recognised qualification for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
