Mental Health Support Worker
Hourly Rate : £16.00.
Sleeping Night Rate : £80.00
- Full clean Driving Licence essential for this role
Shift Pattern :
Days : 8 : 00am- 8 : 00pm.
We provide support on a 24 / 7 basis with a staffing ratio of 2 : 1 support. You will be expected to support on a rotational basis working 12-hour shifts. This will include every other weekend and will include sleep-in duties.
For this position it is essential that you have a background in supporting people with Psychosis, Bipolar disorder, and Autism.
Ideally your experience will be in community base settings, such as supported living and / or residential care. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) would be an advantage.
You will play a pivotal role in providing person-centred support for a sweet natured, captivating and humorous gentleman. He is supported on a 2 : 1 basis in his own home. The person has a love for crazy golf, amusement arcades, board games, strolls on the beach, playing pool and visiting the pub. You should be fun, upbeat and have a naturally bubbly personality. You will also need to be calm, relaxed and resilient.

Our Refer a Friend scheme is worth £500 in total.
This is split £250 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £250 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
