Supply Teaching Assistant - Plymouth - Temporary (UK DRIVING LICENSE AND CAR MANDATORY)
Job Title : Supply Teaching Assistant
Location : Plymouth
Salary : £80 - £95 per day
Start Date : September 2024
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistant in Plymouth for regular cover work in SEN schools.
Responsibilities :
- Provide personalised support and guidance, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Foster social interactions and communication skills in a nurturing environment.
- Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and behaviour interventions, utilising diverse teaching methods tailored to SEN students' needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to cultivate a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with SENCO, parents, and external agencies, maintaining detailed records of student progress and interventions.
- Participate in ongoing mentorship and professional development to improve teaching skills and advance in the field of education.
