Job descriptionPreviously worked as an Estimator or in a similar role in construction industry. Experience in Facades, cladding, metal and flat roofing. Understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques. Skilled in using estimating software and tools. Ideally have 1 year of surveying experience. GCSE or equivalent qualification would be preferred. Capable of evaluating project costs and devising strategies to manage and reduce expenses. Valid UK driving licence. Must live near to the job location. Competitive salary Casual dress Free parking

As Roofing Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining cost control and ensuring project profitability.
Responsibilities :
- Examine project plans, specifications, and drawings to comprehend project requirements.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and develop precise cost estimates.
- Discover potential cost-saving measures and value engineering options.
- Prepare and submit thorough bid proposals promptly.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to collect necessary estimating information.
- Keep a database of historical cost data for future use.
- Track project costs during the construction process and regularly report to management.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
