What you’ll do on a typical day :
Provide advice and support to ensure compliance with both legislation and corporate policy to Line Managers
Review into incident trends, follow up actions from audits & incidents
Preparation of monthly QHSE statistics to be delivered at site monthly meeting
Advise and assist where required with all ongoing investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the site's agreed SLA timings
Manage Food Safety & Quality standards within the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO :
Experience working at a similar level within a logistics / warehousing environment, ideally within 3PL
Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike
Working towards or desire to obtain NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent - National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
Experience in QHSE Management systems
The candidate will ideally have experience of Food Safety Regulations / Compliance in accordance with BRC Global Standard for Warehousing & Distribution Issue 4
