Location : Bridgend
Rate : £35 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Team based in Bridgend. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adults in the community, in accordance with the principles of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will carry out comprehensive assessments to determine individuals’ needs, ensuring all assessments align with the principles of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual. Additionally, you will assist individuals in accessing a range of community resources to support their wellbeing and independence. You will conduct capacity assessments and address best interests, ensuring that all decisions made are in the best interest of the individual. Advocating for the rights and services of individuals, you will ensure ethical and legal compliance at all times. Providing support to carers, you will offer guidance and resources to help them in their role. Finally, you will actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Experiences :
To be successful in this role, you should have Social Care Wales registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, possess post-qualified experience, and have a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
