We are currently working with a college based in Cambridge who are searching for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.Theyre ideally looking for someone who has a previous background working within a college,or has previous facilities experience whos looking to try out a new industry.Typical duties would include : Supporting the facilities team in ensuring the smooth operation of the college building and site.Acting as a primary point of contact for all building and site queries.Conducting minor maintenance tasks as needed.Assisting with the movement of furniture and equipment.The successful candidates : Previous experience working within facilities or in a similar proactive hands on position.Hardworking and enjoys working as part of a wider team.Good communication skillsProficient IT skills and able to use MS Office.Experience inplanned andpreventative maintenance tasks.General maintenance and repair work including painting, decorating, use of power tools, general carpentry and building work.
