Join Our Team as a Project Director for Large-Scale Refurbishment Projects (£50 million+)
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Director to join our London team, where you will lead and drive the performance of large-scale refurbishment projects. This leading role offers significant autonomy, allowing you to manage your own team. You will be leading and driving project performance in terms of delivery, compliance and profit.

Role Overview :
As a Project Director, you will oversee a major live project (and precon of future projects). You will have full control over these initiatives, with overall responsibility for delivery, team management, health and safety, and environmental compliance. Your role will involve :
Planning, programming, and strategizing across all project elements.
Ensuring meticulous planning from design through to procurement and completion.
Supporting site teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage large-scale refurbishment projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to optimise resources and meet project timelines.
Adapt to fast-paced interior projects, demonstrating quick thinking and flexibility in planning.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging learning and development among team members.

Criteria and experience :
Extensive construction knowledge and expertise in large-scale refurbishment projects
Strong leadership capabilities, with a practical, organised, and resilient approach
Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and consultants
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Proven track record of leading or managing the de-risking of projects during the pre-construction services agreement phase to ensure smooth execution.
Expertise in reading and accurately interpreting contract documents, programmes, drawings and technical specifications and ensuring project team(s) understanding of drawings, technical specifications and programme.
