Join Our Exceptional Team as an Art & Design / Music Teacher!

Academics Ltd is looking for a passionate Art & Design / Music Teacher to join our team, working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting in the South Yorkshire Area. This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of young people who need it most.

Key Responsibilities :

Engage & Inspire : Develop and deliver engaging Art & Design and Music lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Nurture Growth : Foster a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Collaborate : Work with the SEN team to create individualized learning plans.
Innovate : Use innovative teaching methods to inspire creativity and confidence in students.
Assess & Support : Monitor student progress, providing feedback to encourage development.

Requirements :

Qualifications : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience : Working with SEN students is highly desirable.

Skills : Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design and Music, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attributes : Patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Checks : DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
