Job description

Are you a highly experienced Structural Engineer who is looking to join a firm that believes in leaving a legacy of design?

Due to an increase in projects won my client, an established and highly successful design firm that provides fully integrated end-to-end services, is looking to expand its team with a Director of Structural Engineering for their Kuwait office.

As a Director of Structural Engineering, you will assume the overall vision responsibility of working with clients and stakeholders within the firm to oversee the Planning, strategizing and deployment of a healthy cultural and technology driven Digital Transformation. This position also embodies the role of structural leadership as an enabler of architectural design excellence and innovation.

For this position, you will also be required to travel to my client's other offices within the GCC.

The successful Director of Structural Engineering will be offered :

Director of Structural Engineering requirements :

15-20 years experience in design and supervision

Proven experience of Structural leadership role in large-scale projects

Proven management experience, including managing budgets, staffing levels and quality and implementation metrics.

Demonstrated ability to incorporate BIM Philosophy into Structural team’s work and function.

Experience of large project execution including : Experience of facility design in a 3D Model / BIM environment.

Professional accreditation in BIM a plus but not required

Professional accreditation in Structural Engineering preferred (i.e. PE, Peng)
