Our client based in the East Midlands is looking for a Consultant who specialises in Paediatrics (Community) , this is a full time substantive post.
The hospital serves over 400,000 people across the area and surrounding areas. The Trust is looking for an individual with a commitment to service improvement and development, and excellent communication and liaison skills.
The post holder will deliver a full range of community paedriatric services including developmental and educational paediatrics in locality clinics. They will also undertake integrated developmental assessment clinics with therapists. The post-holder will also participate in the daytime hours child protection rota for physical / sexual abuse.
The following is required to be eligible for this post :
- Full GMC registration (ESSENTIAL)
- MRCPCH
- On Specialist Register / CCT in Community Paediatrics or eligible for inclusion within six months
- Demonstrate commitment to shared leadership & collaborative working to deliver improvement
- Ability to work independently as well as part of A MDT
- Able to form a good working relationship with the peer group
