Making a significant contribution to the firms success, there is clear scope for progression to Manager and Senior Manager and beyond.You will be involved in providing high quality corporation tax compliance and advice to a portfolio of UK companies and overseas businesses.Reporting directly to the Head of Direct Taxes, youll spend your time dealing with corporation tax compliance, training junior team members, dealing with ad-hoc technical questions and researching tax legislation.They provide advice in areas such as : Review of group loss relief positionsAssociated companies review and impactCT quarterly instalmentsCapital allowance claimsProcessing R&D claimsAdvice on tax planning opportunities, tax disputes and penalty appealsIn addition, there will be the opportunity to learn more about : corporate residence issues and permanent establishmentstransfer pricing, transaction and financial arrangementstax input for group restructuring and tax clearance applicationsFor candidates with a broad direct taxes knowledge and experience, there will be the opportunity to assist with personal tax and P11d compliance and advisory work on an ad-hoc basis.WORKING HOURSFull-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week, excluding meal breaks.
