Are you an ambitious and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor?
This is your opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company at the heart of Newry who are offering you the chance to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include aiding and support with :
- Monthly Cost Value Reconciliations
- Participation in on Monthly project reviews with Contracts Director as required
- Liaising with Contracts Management and procurement teams
- Issue of problem-solving documentation including Collateral Warranties
- Assessing and certification of Sub-Contractor interim payments and Final Accounts, ensuring required Payment / Pay-less notices are issued.
- Preparing, submitting and agreeing Interim Valuations.
- Assist with preparation of Extension of Time and Loss & Expense Submissions.
- Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts
- Identification, notification and valuation
You will ideally have a Main Contractor background and project experience of £5M+ :
BSc in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 3 / 4 years post-graduate experience
Attained or working towards membership of RICS
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
A good understanding of the construction industry and working on site
