About the Role :
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the long-term Children’s Safeguarding team. Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced professional with a passion for working with children and families, as well as expertise in identifying and managing child protection concerns or addressing ongoing issues. What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will develop and implement measurable, timely interventions in Child Protection / Children in Need (CIN) plans. You will identify when further intervention is required to protect children within your caseload and take appropriate action. You will champion practice improvement, actively participate in process, procedure, policy and strategy development. You will manage and assess risk, leveraging technical authority and deep expertise in social care practice. Additionally, you will support and mentor others while maintaining credibility and hands-on experience in complex cases.
Essential Requirements :
- Registered with Social Work Wales.
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
- Post-qualified experience.
- Significant experience in progressing Child Protection and Children in Need (CIN) plans.
- Expertise in assessing and managing risk in complex cases.
- Organized, resilient, and adept at balancing multiple priorities while focusing on the best outcomes for children.
